(a) STEP 1—Any dispute, alleged contractual violation or grievance should first be discussed with the employee's immediate supervisor, or with the aggrieved employee, the Union Steward and/or the appropriate Union representative and the employee's immediate supervisor. If unresolved the grievance shall be filed with the Company within twenty (20) calendar days of the known occurrence giving rise to the dispute, alleged contractual violation or grievance.
